I’m excited you’re here! Your first set of new-and-improved lesson videos will be available on February 5, 2022.
But in the meantime, you’ll receive an email with a link to the course dashboard. The current lesson videos are available to you if you’d like to get a jump start. The content won’t change so much as I’ll be adding to it, providing new examples, and answering a few common questions along the way.
While you’re waiting for the first “official” week of the workshop, you can prepare to hit the ground running by:
- Choosing the screenplay idea you want to outline in this workshop (or at least narrowing the field to a couple of contenders).
- Free-writing about your idea as a way to gather your thoughts and inspiration in one place.
- Watching (or revisiting) movies I use as examples in the workshop. Die Hard, Bridesmaids, and A Quiet Place are a few of the movies I refer to regularly. The new videos will also include School of Rock, Children of Men, and others. You can email any suggestions for movies you’d like to see used as examples, and I’ll do my best to incorporate them in either the workshop itself or in the forum discussion.
